  • March 2004

    MiraiKikai was founded by Tohru Miyake and a group of fellow students at Kagawa University.
    At the time, Tohru was the youngest person to be selected as a researcher by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).

  • March 2005

    Exhibited the Autonomous Window Cleaning Robot “WallWalker” at the 2005 World Exposition in Aichi, Japan.

  • October 2007

    The Autonomous Window Cleaning Robot “Wall Walker” received the Good Design Award 2007.

  • August 2015

    Mr. Akihiko Nagata from Real Tech Fund came on board as an external directo.

  • November 2015

    Received funding commercialization support for Seed-stage Technology-based Startups (STS) from NEDO.
